北書院入口に山岡鉄舟の扁額がかかっている、その下に「Khora」を置いた。「Khora」を水面の波紋として捉えれば、そこに禅機を見出すことができるかもしれない。

A plaque inscribed by Yamaoka Tesshū hangs at the entrance of the North Study. Beneath it, I placed the "Khora." If the "Khora" is seen as ripples on the water’s surface, one might find a Zen insight within it.

北庭に面した三つの床の間に同型の作品を配置した。小堀遠州が手を加えたとされる北庭に感応することで、先達と対話できないかと考えた。

I placed identical works in the three *tokonoma* facing the North Garden. By resonating with the garden, which is said to have been refined by Kobori Enshū, I sought a way to engage in dialogue with the masters of the past.
